  • Yes, I am in-network with Blue Cross and Blue Shield PPO plans.

    Unfortunately that doesn’t include BCBS Community Health Plan, which is a Medicaid plan.

    I am not in network with Medicaid, Medicare or other insurances.

  • Unfortunately I’m not in-network with HMO plans. These plans will typically require you to obtain a referral for a therapist through your Primary Care Provider. The therapist will need to be in-network with your specific HMO plan.

  • It depends on your specific plan. You may have a deductible, a copay or a co-insurance. I always encourage folks to call the customer service number on the back of their insurance card to confirm their benefits prior to their first appointment.

  • Understanding insurance can feel overwhelming in itself, but especially if you’re not sure what questions to ask. Here’s a brief guide that may help you get the information you need. As a reminder, insurances don’t always guarantee coverage for services provided, which is why understanding your benefits is important to hopefully avoid unpleasant billing surprises.

  • Although my goal is to one day serve people in multiple locations, due to the current legal and ethical standards of my licensed profession, I can only offer psychotherapy to individuals based in Illinois. That means you must be physically located in Illinois at the time of your session.

    If you’re struggling finding a therapist in your state, I recommend searching in therapy directories such as Inclusive Therapists, Latinx Therapy, Therapy for Black Girls, Asian Mental Health Collective, and National Queer & Trans Therapists of Color Network.

  • No. LCPCs don’t prescribe medication. However, with your consent, I can collaborate with your prescribing provider to make sure we’re aligned in supporting your mental health goals.

  • Not at the moment. I work with adults 18 and older. However, I’m happy to provide pediatric therapy referrals if requested.
